Frequently Asked Questions for Drivers
How do I become a Zaando Go driver?
You can apply online through our official Zaando Go driver application form. You’ll need a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, police certificate of character and a reliable vehicle (car, motorbike, or bicycle).
What documents do I need to start?
– Valid driver’s license
– Vehicle insurance (where applicable)
– Government-issued ID
– Police certificate of character (optional at launch, but may be required later)
– Bank account details for payments
How do I receive orders?
You’ll receive orders through the Zaando Go Driver App. The app will notify you when there’s a nearby pickup, along with the restaurant name, order details, and customer location. You will have the option to accept or ignore the order.
How much will I earn per delivery?
Drivers earn approximately 90% of the delivery fee, plus tips. The exact amount depends on distance, time of day, and special promotions.
How often will I get paid?
Payments are processed weekly directly to your bank account.
Can I choose my own schedule?
Yes. You can log into the driver app whenever you want to work. However, high-traffic areas and peak times (lunch, dinner, weekends) usually mean more orders.
What areas does Zaando Go serve?
At launch, we’ll be providing order and takeaway service only. At Phase 2 (~3 months after launch), we plan to serve the high-demand areas of Tobago. More zones will be added as we expand.
Do I have to accept every order?
No, there is no obligation for you to accept any order. You can drive, deliver and earn on your time.
What if a customer doesn’t answer when I arrive?
If the customer is unresponsive:
1. Call them through the app.
2. Wait 5 minutes.
3. If no response, contact Zaando Go Support for next steps.
Will Zaando Go provide training?
Yes. All drivers receive onboarding materials covering:
– App navigation
– Food handling best practices
– Customer service tips
– Safety guidelines
What if my vehicle breaks down during delivery?
Immediately contact Zaando Go Support so they can arrange for order completion.
Are tips included in my earnings?
